Eisriesenwelt est la plus grande grotte de glace du monde, s'étendant sur plus de 42 km.
La première découverte est due à Anton Posselt, en 1879, bien qu'il n'ait exploré que les 200 premiers mètres de la grotte. Avant sa découverte, la grotte était connue seulement des locaux, qui, croyant qu'il s'agissait d'une entrée de l'enfer, refusèrent de l'explorer davantage.

Cave Eisriesenwelt, Werfen - Austria

Eisriesenwelt is the largest ice cave in the world, stretching over 42 km.
The first official discovery is due to Anton Posselt, in 1879, although he only explored the first 200 meters of the cave. Before its discovery, the cave was known only by locals, who, believing it to be an entrance to hell, refused to explore it further.

Bien que n'étant pas la plus belle ville de Russie, Kaliningrad porte en elle un morceau de l'histoire de l'Europe.
La ville est située dans une enclave totalement isolée du reste du territoire russe.
Construite sur le site de l'ancienne Königsberg fondée en 1255 par les Chevaliers Teutoniques, la ville devint en 1457 la capitale de l'ordre teutonique. En 1701, Königsberg devint vice-capitale du royaume de Prusse avec Berlin.
Elle sera perdue en 1946 suite à la défaite de l'Allemagne.

Kaliningrad - Russia

Although not the most beautiful city in Russia, Kaliningrad carries with it a piece of European history.
The city is located in an enclave completely isolated from the rest of Russian territory. Built on the site of the old Königsberg founded in 1255 by the Teutonic Knights, the city became in 1457 the capital of the Teutonic order. In 1701, Königsberg became vice-capital of the Kingdom of Prussia with Berlin. It will be lost in 1946 following the defeat of Germany.
