Matka Canyon is a canyon occupied by Lake Matka, a man-made lake. It is located near the village of Matka, in the municipality of Sarai which is part of the city of Skopje.
With nearly 5,000 hectares, there are several monasteries and remarkable karst phenomena among which the Vrelo caves. One of these caves is home to one of the deepest natural siphons in the world.

Gaztelugatxe is an islet located north of Bilbao, 200 m from the shore to which it is connected by a pedestrian bridge.
Since the Middle Ages, the site has been a place of pilgrimage. A bridge followed by a staircase of 241 steps dug into the rock provides access. Legend has it that Saint John the Baptist reached the islet in three strides, leaving an imprint with each of his steps, the last at the top of the island, and on which he would have ordered to build the hermitage.

Gaztelugatxe - Espagne

Gaztelugatxe est un îlot situé au nord de Bilbao, à 200 m du rivage auquel il est relié par un pont piétonnier.
Depuis le Moyen Âge, le site est un lieu de pèlerinage. Un pont suivi d'un escalier de 241 marches creusées en partie dans la roche permet d'y accéder. La légende veut que saint Jean Baptiste ait atteint l'îlot en trois enjambées, laissant une empreinte à chacun de ses pas, la dernière au sommet de l'île, et sur laquelle il aurait ordonné de construire l'ermitage.

The region of the extreme North East of Iceland is often neglected by tourists. The population is concentrated in the small town of Raufarhöfn.
In the early 2000s, in an effort to attract more tourists, Erlingur Thoroddsen proposed the construction of Heimskautsgerðið, better known as Arctic Henge. The project still ongoing should look like picture 5.
For this project, Erlingur Thoroddsen was largely inspired by the poem Völuspá: "The prophecy of the seeress".

Arctic henge - Islande

La région de l'extrême Nord Est de l'Islande est souvent délaissée des touristes. La population se concentre sur la petite ville de Raufarhöfn.
Au début des années 2000, dans le but d'attirer plus de touristes, Erlingur Thoroddsen, proposa la construction du Heimskautsgerðið, plus connue sous le nom de Arctic Henge. Le projet, toujours en cours, doit ressembler à l'image 5.
Pour ce projet, Erlingur Thoroddsen s'est largement inspiré de poème Völuspá: "La prophétie de la voyante".

Loen - Norvège

Loen est un petit village situé à l'intérieur du Nordfjord, sous le grand glacier Jostedalsbreen. Ici vous trouverez le Loen Skylift, un téléphérique qui vous amènera explorer les montagnes.
