When Resistance members arrived at the town square in Sundsvall for their 1 May celebration, they found a table of books that had been left there for them by local reds. These included works by the non-White “whiteness studies” writer Tobias Hübinette. Alongside the books was a message that urged the Resistance men to "read a book" to "cure" themselves of National Socialism. The books were gratefully received by the comrades, who used them for much-needed warmth on a chilly evening after the demonstration.
