Dean Village est un ancien village situé immédiatement au nord-ouest du centre-ville d'Edimbourg. Il était connue sous le nom de "Water of Leith Village" et était le centre d'une zone de meunerie prospère pendant plus de 800 ans, alimentant l'ensemble de la ville d'Edimbourg en farine. Dean Village is an ancient village located immediately to the northwest of Edinburgh city centre. It was known as the "Water of Leith Village" and was the center of a thriving milling area for over 800 years, supplying the whole of Edinburgh with flour. Its mills will be mentioned for the first time in 1145 and the village will remain separated from Edinburgh until the 19th century.
