avatar of Lord Vishnu and the newest deity to arrive at Shree Peetha Nilaya. Paramahamsa Vishwananda will perform this sacred ritual which infuses the life-force into the stone deity.
Varaha-avatar is Lord Vishnu in the form of a boar. When the demon Hiranyaksha stole mother earth and hid Her in the primordial waters, Vishnu appeared as Varaha to rescue Her. Varaha slew the demon and retrieved mother earth from the ocean, lifting Her on his tusks, and restored Bhudevi to Her place in the universe.
This avatar helps us to destroy negativity and restore our true relationship with God.
