Margaret Thatcher, qui est surnommée « la dame de fer ».

Thatcher was the first female Prime Minister (PM) of Britain.

Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands in 1982. Thatcher sent the British army to fight and recapture it. After that, she was seen as a hero even though many lives were lost.

English miners went on a strike in 1984-1985 to protest against Thatcher’s decision to close down coal mines. Miners lost.

After introducing a very unpopular tax in 1989, she was forced to resign.

According to the rumors, she slep only 4 hours per night.

Thatcher died in 2013… she was so hated that people actually celebrated her death. You could see signs such as ‘Thatcher rot in hell’ The bitch is dead’, ‘Iron lady, rust in peace’
